You could try signing more with fluent signers. They’re super quick with their signs!
It’s hard to find fluent signers. How would you recommend finding more people to practice with?
I’m going to jump in here! You can ask ASL teachers in your area about the local Deaf community. You could also contact a Deaf institute near you and see what they have to say.
Locally, I know of the following events…
– Treasure Coast ASL Social (posted about it on the main page).
– Church ASL interpretation (it’s in the works, but it hasn’t gotten started yet. If you’re interested, I’ll let you know as soon as I have more info on it!).
